Golf event to benefit Burrell Education Foundation

Burrell Education Foundation’s 22nd Annual Golf Outing will be June 13 at Hill Crest Country Club in Lower Burrell.

Check-in will be at 8:30 a.m. Fee is $125 per golfer; $475 per foursome; foursome must be paid in full prior to June 10. Entry fee includes golf, cart, refreshments and a barbeque dinner.

Sponsorship opportunities are available. Proceeds benefit the educational, cultural and recreational activities of the Burrell Educational Foundation for students and teachers of the Burrell School District.

Tarentum Night Market to open season

The first monthly Tarentum Night Market event of the summer will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday in downtown Tarentum. There will be music, food and shops will be open.
